Avsnitt 23 / Episode 11 – Giulia from Italy

Hello, foreign people,

In this episode I talk with Giulia from Italy. We talk about the Italian indie and convention scene, GameChef 2012, translating games, Gaming as women, what Polaris has in common with IKEA, and many other things.

Giulia posted a whole bunch of links to stuff we talked about on Google+.

  1. I really enjoyed you and Giulia’s postering on how English audiences would interpret foreign materials and vice versa. It was very humorous, as well as informative about you. I’m still in the camp that the majority of RPG players are mildly austicic because no sane person would care if the 1902 newspaper would cost 1 penny or two.

  2. Of all the interviews I’ve heard, I liked this the most. Interesting topics, especially about the cultural lenses. On how you use tropes and how it seems more right than real life. I want to hear more from Guilia. She got good English and good ideas. 🙂

I will start using ”subways in Tel Aviv” myself. 🙂
